Description
Medox Tablets are a combination antibiotic medication containing Amoxicillin (250 mg) and Clavulanic Acid (125 mg). This formulation is designed to treat a wide range of bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and counteracting beta-lactamase enzymes that render certain antibiotics ineffective. Medox Tablets are commonly prescribed for infections in the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, and oral cavity.
How to Use:
-
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, typically every 8–12 hours.
-
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.
-
It can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce the chance of stomach upset.
-
Complete the full course of treatment, even if you start feeling better, to ensure the infection is fully cleared.
